Superannuation essentials

The Tax Laws Amendment (Simplified Superannuation) Act 2007 and related legislation received Royal Assent on 15 March 2007. These Acts generally apply from 1 July 2007.  IFSA is in the process of updating this series of fact sheets to reflect the changes, and those completed have been dated accordingly.  For more information about these changes please visit http://simplersuper.treasury.gov.au

Understanding Money Seminars

IFSA, in support of the Government’s Financial Literacy Campaign, has developed a series of seminars to improve consumer understanding of investing, superannuation and life insurance.  The seminars are available for use under non-exclusive licence by IFSA member companies and financial planners.

The seminars support the objectives of the Government's Financial Literacy campaign and also meet the criteria for seminars the Financial Literacy Foundation is willing to list on its website. The seminars we have currently available are:
