Peter Maher is Chairman of the Financial Services Council ("FSC"), Chairman of the FSC's Administration & Risk Board Committee and Chairman of the FSC's Nominations Board Committee.

Peter joined Macquarie in November 2000 and is the Group Head of Banking & Financial Services (“BFS”).

Peter is responsible for over 3100 staff globally, spread over 10 countries. BFS has over $116 billion in funds under advice / administration / management, and is building a global advice network focusing on predominantly high net worth advisers and their clients and delivering them a range of solutions including cash, platforms, banking, investments, and insurance.

In addition to his Macquarie directorships, Peter is a Director of the Schizophrenia Research Institute.
